How do I sign up for True Value Rewards?

Answer:

There are two ways to sign-up for the True Value Reward program. Either fill out an application at a participating store or enroll online at TrueValueRewards.com. Once the enrollment process is complete, you’ll receive a TV Rewards card to use with all purchases. To enroll online please select the “Enroll” button found on the homepage. How do I update my address, email or phone info on my True Value Rewards account?

Answer:

Just click on “My Account” once you are logged on to the website.

Why do I need to include my birth month on my profile?

Answer:

This is an optional field in your profile information. You never know, we might send you a card on your birthday.

I forgot my True Value Rewards username or password.

Answer:

If you forgot your username, you can login with your True Value Rewards card number and password. If you forgot your password, click on “Login Assistance.”

How do I change my primary store information on my account?

Answer:

Once logged in, you can change your primary store by navigating to the upper right-hand corner, and selecting the “Change Store” link.

Where can I check my points balance for True Value Rewards?

Answer:

Check your balance on the True Value Rewards website upon login.

How do I earn points?

Answer:

Present your card with every purchase at any participating True Value Rewards store. You’ll earn 10 points per dollar spent in store. True Value stores are independently owned and operated and reserve the right to modify the point structure at any time.

Can I get retroactive credit for a purchase I made and forgot to use my card?

Answer:

Yes. Please bring a copy of your receipt and your True Value Rewards card the next time you come in. We will add the points to your account for qualifying purchases.

How long after a purchase does it take for my points to show up online?

Answer:

Please allow up to 3 business days. If you have just signed up for the True Value Rewards program, it could take up to 4 weeks while we process your application. If you see missing transactions or an incorrect balance, please contact the store from which you made the purchase or contact customer service at 1-888-946-6314.

What if I return an item that I previously earned points on?

Answer:

The points originally earned on the item will be subtracted from your balance.

I show a purchase, but I received 0 True Value Rewards points.

Answer:

Some products may be excluded from earning points or may earn a percentage of points. Points earned on certain purchases can vary based on each individual True Value store. See your True Value store for details.

How do I earn rewards certificates?

Answer:

For every 2500 points you accumulate, you will receive a $5 Rewards Certificate. Rewards Certificates are compiled and automatically mailed to qualified customers monthly and are valid for approximately 30 days.

How do I redeem my rewards certificates?

Answer:

Redeem them at any participating True Value Rewards store. Rewards certificates are valid for approximately 30 days. The expiration date is printed on your certificate.

Do my points expire?

Answer:

Yes, after 2+ years (or 730+ days) of purchase inactivity on your True Value Rewards card, your entire point balance will expire and be re-set to 0.

Can I have a rewards certificate replaced?

Answer:

Rewards certificates are like cash and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.

What are the service center hours?

Answer:

The customer service center is open 9:00am - 4:30pm, Central Standard Time (CST), Monday through Friday. You can contact customer service by email or by calling 1-888-946-6314.

Do I earn points for shopping online?

Answer:

If you shop online and have your merchandise shipped to your True Value Rewards store, you may inquire at the store. Merchandise purchased online and shipped to you does not earn points at this time. Points cannot be redeemed online at this time.

What if I’ve lost/misplaced my card?

Answer:

Log in to your account. Print a replacement card by navigating to “My Account” and select “Print Replacement Card” in the top navigation bar.

How do I sign up to receive True Value Rewards emails?

Answer:

Log in to your account. Navigate to “My Account” and within your profile information at the bottom of the page, check the box that says, “Check here if you want to receive email communications in the future.”
